Product Introduction
The USKYLED SMD 2835 LED strip light is a flexible lighting tape for cabinet interiors, ceiling coves, shelves and decorative display details. Its narrow format allows it to fit into suitable channels and concealed lighting spaces.
The range offers 60, 120 and 240 LEDs per metre, with DC12V and DC24V versions. Choose IP20 for dry indoor installations or the listed IP65 version where the project requires additional protection and appropriately sealed connections.
White-light options include 3000K, 4000K and 6500K. Selected single-colour versions are also available for decorative lighting.
Design
SMD 2835 LEDs are mounted on a flexible circuit board with adhesive backing. The listed strip widths are 7.5mm, 8mm and 10mm, depending on LED density.
The strip can follow suitable curves and be shortened at its marked cutting points. For straight runs, select an aluminium profile that accommodates the strip and any protective coating.
LED density affects the spacing between individual light points. Where the strip will be visible through a diffuser, test the selected strip and profile together before placing a project order.

Order length does not establish the maximum length that can be powered from one end. Confirm the wiring arrangement for the selected voltage, power and installation length.
Lighting Options
White light
- 3000K warm white: For projects specifying a warmer appearance.

- 6500K cool white: For projects requiring cooler white light.

Each coloured version produces its selected colour. These options should not be confused with RGB colour-changing or individually addressable strips.
If dimming is required, confirm compatibility with the proposed low-voltage control system. A controller is not included.
Installation
- Confirm the strip’s rated voltage, density, colour and protection version.
- Plan the run lengths, power-feed positions and cable routes.
- Select a matching constant-voltage DC power supply based on the actual connected load and the power supply manufacturer’s operating requirements.
- Unroll and test the strip before permanent installation.
- Clean and dry the mounting surface, then install the strip in a suitable profile or mounting arrangement.
- Cut only at the designated cutting marks.
- Connect the strip with correct polarity and suitable wiring.
- Where protection from moisture is required, seal cut ends and connections appropriately.
- Test the completed installation for consistent operation.
Do not connect the strip directly to mains voltage. Use the DC12V or DC24V supply specified for the selected strip.
Confirm the feed arrangement for longer runs. A 10m order should not be treated as a guarantee of uniform output with single-end power.
